Activities and organizations approved by an ANCC approver are recognized by most state licensing boards. Check with your licensure board if you are not sure if they recognize ANCC accredited or approved providers.
To have a program approved or to become an approved provider, the guidelines in the Continuing Education must be followed. The manual is currently under revision.
Educational Activities
Three (3) copies of the application and the appropriate fee MUST be received in the DNA office AT LEAST 45 DAYS before the date of the educational activity. Late applications are not guaranteed approval. No application is reviewed after the educational activity has occurred.
The revised forms will be posted as they become available.
Providers
Application for provider approval requires at least eight (8) weeks for review. Renewal applications for provider status must be received in the DNA office at least 8 weeks before expiration of the current approval.
The revised forms will be posted as they become available.
