Special Task Force on Equity

In July 2020, the Delaware Nurses Association Board of Directors approved the establishment of a Special Task Force on Equity. The focus for this task force is to assemble Delaware Nurses from across the state to design, advocate for and implement enduring solutions related to health and social equity.

The announcement of the creation of the task force was announced during the DNA's Virtual Panel Discussion on Racism, Equity and Ethics, held in July 2020. View the recording of this panel discussion here.

• Eliminate racism, discrimination and bias from Nursing and other health professions
• Partner, design and advocate for legislative changes the support health and social equity for all

The task force is currently being formed by Christopher Otto, MSN, RN, CHFN, PCCN, CCRN and open to all Delaware Nurses with a passion to address health and social equity. A charter, strategic plan and other resources are currently being developed.
