2025 DNA and Delaware Today Top Nurses Awards

The Delaware Nurses Association works to promote and support the nursing profession throughout the state of Delaware regardless of practice setting. Delaware Today magazine is the lifestyle authority in the First State and helps readers make informed decisions to enhance their lives. Together Delaware Today magazine and the Delaware Nurses Association bring you Delaware Today's Top Nurses. Top Nurses are featured in the May edition of the magazine to coincide with National Nurses Month, May.

Delaware's Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses are nominated by peers and selected by a panel of nurse colleagues. Every Delaware nurse with an active, unencumbered license is eligible for nomination. Please see the award categories below. Membership in the Delaware Nurses Association is not required to nominate or be nominated.

    • A Licensed Practical Nurse who provides outstanding patient care, superior nursing clinical skills, and exceptional communication skills which contribute to the health care needs of patients while advancing the profession.
